See in the Dark (© 2011 Mike Kimlicko) The sky is black, but the night is still very far And the storm, it creeps while my love, she sleeps in the car And the rage, it keeps, but I don‟t know who you are But for now I‟m fine, while I‟ve still got my guitar. There‟s no time to waste, no trace of love to be found While the sky opens up and the rain crashes to the ground Down this winding road, as my thoughts unfold with a frown But for now I‟m fine, while I‟m driving through this town So don‟t be late to wake There‟s far too much at stake The way is clear And though she‟s near, she‟s gone Wipe the sleep from your eyes, for the lies were not in a dream While the whisper is soft, the words flow down in a scream Though the words are clear, it‟s hard to know what you mean But for now I‟m fine, though your eyes have lost their gleam So don‟t be late to wake There‟s far too much at stake The way is clear And though she‟s near, she‟s gone It came to me not in a flash, nor with a spark Because when it‟s gone you have to learn to see… Learn to see… to see in the dark With your feet on the dash and the window down for the air It‟s plenty warm outside but she‟s far too cold to care When the road is done the heart will have no spare But for now I‟m fine, though the truth is hard to bare So don‟t be late to wake There‟s far too much at stake The way is clear And though she‟s near, she‟s gone So don‟t be late to wake There‟s far too much at stake The way is clear And though she‟s near, she‟s gone

Pilgrim‟s Heart (© 2011 Kate Aronson) Come down to the river with your pilgrim‟s heart Let loose and beating fast Come down to the river with your pilgrim‟s heart Let go your broken past Laying low so no one noticed Coming home to nothing new Retreating into darkness Letting no one comfort you Come down to the river with your pilgrim‟s heart Let loose and beating fast Come down to the river with your pilgrim‟s heart Let go your broken past Building walls so no one sees you Hiding from the light Walking in the shadows Letting nothing change the night Come down to the river with your pilgrim‟s heart Let loose and beating fast Come down to the river with your pilgrim‟s heart Let go your broken past Your broken past… What keeps you locked inside? What are you afraid of? If you can open your eyes The fear that you are made of Can disappear… Come down to the river with your pilgrim‟s heart Let loose and beating fast Come down to the river with your pilgrim‟s heart Let go your broken past Come down to the river with your pilgrim‟s heart Let loose and beating fast Come down to the river with your pilgrim‟s heart Let go your broken past Your broken past…

Canyon Walls 03:10
Canyon Walls (© 2011 Paul Lilley) Sun is hitting the walls above my head Ground is freezing now I think I‟ll stay here in bed Water‟s red now carving these walls to bleed Slowly pulling all this life downstream But these walls, yeah these walls They‟re surrounding me And these walls, yeah these walls Will they fall on me? Sun is risen but I still can‟t see These canyon walls are closing in around me The air gets warmer now the heat‟s more than I can bear Water‟s freezing no, no chance of swimming here But these walls, yeah these walls They‟re surrounding me And these walls, canyon walls Will they fall on me? Sun is setting, spilling light around me These canyon walls are burning beauty But these walls, yeah these walls They‟re surrounding me And these walls, canyon walls Will they fall on me? And these walls, canyon walls They won‟t fall on me And these walls, canyon walls Now they‟re guiding me

The End of the Day (© 2011 Mike Kimlicko) Cold summer, waiting for the dawn Leaves rustling on the lawn Hard cushion, here to break my fall Boards creaking in the hall At the end of the day we're just stalling There‟s nothing left to say So you just walk away while I'm falling 'til it's gone, at the end of the day Ice melting, drops slide down my glass My taste for this has passed Breeze blowing, lifts the hair from your neck How did we become such a wreck? At the end of the day we're just stalling There's nothing left to say So you just walk away while I'm falling, falling, 'til it's gone, at the end of the day There‟s no reason or rhyme to what you say At the end of the day The fire's glowing, its heat won't warm my hands When will you understand? The train's whistling, leaving this town soon No more will we share the moon At the end of the day we're just stalling There‟s nothing left to say So you just walk away while I'm falling, falling falling, falling, I'm falling, falling… 'til it's gone, at the end of the day The end of the day The end of the day The end of the day The end of the day

10,000 Moons 03:38
10,000 Moons (© 2011 Kate Aronson) Standing on the front porch, looking at the photographs of you Contemplating days I found myself remembering what I knew Sitting at the table, listening and laughing through the night Relating ways I reinvent the story of my life And if you light the sky I will shine with you And if you drift on by I will take your hand And put it on my heart forever Driving down the back roads, following the stars that light the way Re dedicating all that we had promised we would say Dancing on the hilltop, marveling at all that we could see Pontificating on the things we knew would set us free And if you light the sky I will shine with you And if you drift on by I will take your hand And put it on my heart forever And when I am 10,000 moons away will you remember? And when I am 10,000 moons away will you remember? What will you say? Falling off this big earth, floating like an angel in the air Reciprocating all the little signs that I can hear Turing around to see you, knowing all that we have reconciled Anticipating days inside the years still shining white And if you light the sky I will shine with you And if you drift on by I will take your hand And put it on my heart forever And when I am 10,000 moons away will you remember? And when I am 10,000 moons away will you remember? And when I am 10,000 moons away will you remember?

In the Wake of Angels (© 2011 Mike Kimlicko) Here alone without a home I wait in the wake of angels. Try to see what‟s left of me, I„m lost in the arms of strangers I can‟t believe that all I knew is gone and I am left with nothing First a trickle then a flood, I‟m drowning in the wake of angels. Today you‟re here, tomorrow you‟ll be gone again And I can see the writing on the wall When help becomes a fashion from a shiny world But then it‟s gone… Well, I‟d been here long before you knew, you knew that I‟d been crying And I thank you for the love you send, because without it I‟d be next to nothing But now I wonder how long will you stay to help pick up my pieces First a flood and then it stops, I‟m falling through the arms of angels Today you‟re here, tomorrow you‟ll be gone again And I can see the writing on the wall When help becomes a fashion from a shiny world But then it‟s gone… I‟m not ungrateful, but “so long,” Because we both know we‟re moving on I‟ve seen it all before… But for now I rise, now I rise In the wake of angels In the wake of angels Here‟s the rub, we‟ve got to find a way, a way out of the forest For there is but a sea of trees, I‟m lost in among the branches So if you want to help me, help me help myself, because I need to get started No more swimming against the tide, I‟ll be standing in the wake of angels Today you‟re here, tomorrow you‟ll be gone again And I can see the writing on the wall When help becomes a fashion from a shiny world But then it‟s gone… In the wake of angels In the wake of angels In the wake of angels In the wake of angels

Rose of the Night (© 2011 Kate Aronson) My name is Sally, Virginia was my home I loved a man so fiercely, but never could I call him my own The times were troubled, our lives so far apart But he held me so tightly under the southern stars He called me his only true love He called me his rose of the night He called me his darling Sally He promised to make things right We spoke of freedom and justice for all men We‟d steal away for hours; we were equals only then He called me his only true love He called me his rose of the night He called me his darling Sally He promised to make things right Then a child was blossoming from our love He turned away without speaking as the stars fell from above He called me his only true love He called me his rose of the night He called me his darling Sally He promised to make things right My name is Sally, Virginia was my home I loved a man so fiercely, but never could I call him my own

Fly 03:27
Fly (© 2011 Mike Kimlicko) All you say, well, it falls like rain at my feet But it‟s incomplete, just like me There was much more to say but it all floats away „til it‟s clear A whisper in your ear: “Let it be” Here we are, tonight it starts, we dance among the leaves Take my hand and understand you‟re all that‟s left, You‟re all that‟s left of me The memories of me will be much brighter than the night The night that I took flight in the breeze If the measure of you is all that you do, then there‟s time Time to stand up tall and be free Here we are, tonight it starts, we dance among the leaves Take my hand and understand you‟re all that‟s left of me Here we are, tonight it starts, we dance among the leaves Take my hand and understand you‟re all that‟s left, You‟re all that‟s left of me So fly… Don‟t cry… Just fly… Goodbye… Here we are, tonight it starts, we dance among the leaves Take my hand and understand you‟re all that‟s left of me Here we are, tonight it starts, we dance among the leaves Take my hand and understand you‟re all that‟s left, You‟re all that‟s left of me

The Way Things Are (© 2011 Paul Lilley) I am waiting for my train to come Headed out west where I am bound Then I saw her standing by me I‟ll take you there, she says, yeah, I‟ll take you there She started small with talk of sun and rain What was for dinner, and what town came next Then life happened, faith, hope, and dreams I‟ll take you there, I said, yeah, I‟ll take you there We sat in silence, all words were spent Not uncomfortable, just the way things are Train it flies by, old and abandoned town I‟ll take you there, it says, yeah, I‟ll take you there I‟ll take you there, I‟ll take you there I‟ll take you there, I‟ll take you there I am waiting for my train to come Headed back east where I belong Now I don‟t see her that much anymore I took her there that day, yeah, I took her there

Whales (Shine On) (© 2011 Mike Kimlicko) I should not be here what‟s wrong with me The life that I lead, takes me out to sea The mystery waits for us, unless we choose to flee But all I see before me, is all I hoped to be It‟s all I hoped to be Shine on, shine on baby lightning Oh, lead me out to sea Shine on, shine on baby lightning And bring her back to me There‟s something not too natural When water‟s all you breathe When whales come to your sleep From the dark depths beneath From the dark depths beneath Shine on, shine on baby lightning Oh, lead me out to sea Shine on, shine on baby lightning And bring her back to me Through the shadows by the rocks, I‟m on my own And though it blinds me, It‟s a light that leads me home The light that leads me home… Tomorrow the sun rises Pink and orange on the breeze And the wind she sails without me For tonight I‟m finally free Tonight, I‟ll be free Shine on, shine on baby lightning Oh, lead me out to sea Shine on, shine on baby lightning And bring her back to me

Amazed 06:44
Amazed (© 2011 Mike Kimlicko) She walked into a room where no one knew her name She was alone, but by no fault of her own She came for help, but what would she receive? A fleeting glance was all, with no reprieve Looking up for something that‟s just not there Looking out for no one but your own It‟s amazing… He came from far seeking the very best He rode into town with a smile He came seeking only comfort, and nothing more But what he found was apathy Looking up for something that‟s just not there Looking out for no one but your own It‟s amazing, It‟s amazing The whole world‟s watching as they turn away The whole world‟s watching while they turn away They turned them loose, unhooked the noose But tied their hands, oh their hands Will they ever see what they‟ve done Or have they no more eyes? I‟m amazed by what they do and what they say I‟m amazed at how they‟re carried away It‟s a shock, a shock to my very core How no one seems to care anymore Looking up for something that‟s just not there Looking out for no one but your own It‟s amazing, It‟s amazing The whole world‟s watching as they turn away The whole world‟s watching while they turn away The whole world‟s watching as they turn away The whole world‟s watching while they turn away We're all watching as you turn away…
